How do I change something on my diploma?
The only fields that can be modified on the Commemorative Miskatonic University Diploma is either the Subject you studied or the Year that you Graduated. Only Alumni, Faculty and Trustees have access to an Online Diploma. Free members of Miskatonic University are considered currently enrolled and are not graduated yet. If you are an Alumni and would like to change the Subject and Year that appear on your diploma, please Contact us.
Are the certificates like diplomas?
Yes and No. Yes, they look like authentic diplomas from a major institution. But, printed on the certificate it says – “this is not a factual degree”. They are fake diplomas and they have a disclaimer printed on them. Our diplomas in no way are to be used for any legitamate purposes. They are strictly to be used for entertainment purposes.
Will my degree be in a particular subject, for example, a Doctorate in Astronomy?
Yes, we limit ourselves to the listing of subjects that members can select. We make some exceptions and if you’re interested in a particular subject that doesn’t even exist, let us know and we’ll customize your certificate. We must admit that it’s not factual to how degrees were done at the turn of the 20th Century. Originally degrees were awarded in Liberal Arts with a Specialty in a particular topic. The concept of using a particular topic as the subject of the Degree came in the latter half of the 20th Century. During this time, the only degrees that were offered were Philosophy (European) or Liberal Arts (American) in most major institutions. Professional degrees are what we consider the modern degree we attain as a Masters or a Doctorate in a subject (e.g. Doctor of Law, Doctor of Psychology, etc…). How Do I Request a Class Listing?
You can either access your unofficial fake Class Listing here or you can order a Class Listing from the university’s Registrar’s Office. To access your Class Listing online, please sign-in and go to Members. NOTE: Class Listings from this website are NOT real and are meant purely for entertainment ONLY. Miskatonic-university.org does not take any responsability in users who download, copy or print copies of the provided Class Listing information and try to commit fraud with them. You can request a Class Listing in person by filling out a Class Listing Request form and paying the Class Listing fee at the Cashier’s Office. You must return the Class Listing Request form to the Registrar’s Office and show proof of payment. If requesting the Class Listing by mail, state clearly in the correspondence your name, social security number (or student number), the address to where the Class Listing must be forwarded, a check for the amount due, and sign the correspondence. How Long Does It Take to Receive a Class Listing?
Class listings are processed at the same time with Certificates and are usually batched at the end of every month as we induct our new Alumni class on a monthly basis. Users will then be able to see their Class Listing on the website under Members -> Diploma Certificate. One does not graduate overnight. When we process all new alumni, Student applicants will receive an email stating that they have been inducted as Alumni, Faculty and/or Trustee. At that point Certificates are produced and shipped out within 7-10 business days or 10-15 days for international shipping.

How do I get a diploma from Miskatonic?
Miskatonic University offers membership certificates that are fake diplomas to Alumni, Faculty and Trustee members only. In order to become an Alumni, Faculty or Trustee member, you must be admitted, then from there you will receive your Diploma – online and a physical copy. Quick note – this is not a real university and in no way is anything pertaining to this site supposed to represent a higher education institution. Members of Miskatonic University are NOT actual students. Miskatonic University is NOT an accredited institution. ALL products and services offered on this website are intended to be used strictly for novelty purposes.
Can I order a diploma as a gift?
Yes. Join the Alumni by Ordering your Diploma and specify the following 3 details: Full Alumni Name for the person who’s getting the gift, their Degree and Year Graduated (1890-1965 only). During the purchase, specify the shipping details under the “Special Instructions section” where it will prompt you if this is a gift.
I just purchased the trustee level, hoping to gift it to someone. Is there anyway I can change the name to theirs or is that impossible?
Yes. You most certainly may purchase a membership in honor of someone and provide them with a decorative degree. Purchase the Trustee Package and in the Special Instructions put the information of the person receiving the gift. How do I become an Alumni?
Join the Miskatonic University Alumni by making a donation to Miskatonic University and you will receive an online diploma that you can access from our website and will have the option to pay for a physical commemorative copy of your diploma. Miskatonic University is a highly selective and specialized institution that many from all over the world apply for admission. Anyone can become a member except citizens from Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, South Yemen, the Sudan, Syria and most parts of Africa.
