Lectures and laboratories are focused on the composition of important alloys, means of producing various alloys, and their practical applications.  Physical properties of alloys will be studied at length, including weight, tensile strength, melting points, conductivity, anti-corrosive properties, and magnetic and non-magnetic properties.
